Do you think LP will ever be in the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame? and if yes, when do you think itll happen?

Hard to tell. I'd like to think that they would given their long career and huge fan-base. I'm not sure what the criteria is for being a possible inductee, but LP could have a difficult time meeting some of the standards. For example, they didn't revolutionize music.

Depends on their future really. If they broke up now and didn't release anymore albums probably not.

They have a great way of perfecting it though... Where we are at right now in popular music, it is hard for a band with a distinct sound or style to be the 'next thing.' That being said, because LP continues to reinvent themselves, throwing all caution, including their fanbase, into the wind hoping it flies, is a testament to their legacy as a band that refuses to fold under the pressure. They continue to be relevant and have stayed that way for over a decade. I can easily see them taking their place in the Hall Of Fame. The best part is, they are still young enough to keep going pumping out great albums for many years to come.

I think that's the reason why they wouldn't be a prime band to be nominated today. Give them a few more albums and hopefully a few more Grammy's, then they could be legitimate contenders for a run into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame.

To be honest, if they're gonna make it LT kind of needs to be a one time thing. They would need more ATS caliber albums.

I think the success of Hybrid Theory alone will make them strong candidates for it. Only time will tell though!

Considering their debut album has to have been out for at least 25 years, only time will tell if they will even be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. I would imagine with Hybrid Theory's massive success they could be nominated, but they hasn't really revolutionized the music industry, and there haven't been a lot of critics that have been impressed with the material they put out. With that said though, Metallica has been putting out nothing but shit for a really long time now, and they were still inducted. We'll see what happens when it happens, if it happens.

Probably not as long as Jann Wenner and his elitist group of cronies are solely responsible for who gets in and who doesn't. They'll probably induct some completely irrelevant non-rock group like 3OH!3 or some shit like that before LP, given their track record...

I think Jeff means that in order to meet the requirements to even be nominated for the hall of fame, an artist's debut has to have been out for 25 years, I'm confident that he is aware that Hybrid Theory has only been out for 12 years.
