From what I saw from them at Leeds Festival (which wasn't much because I was that appauled at them) they were insanely poor. Speaking of which, they came onstage half an hour late at that show (and an hour late at Reading Festival), then just before their encore, Axl had the audacity to say that the organisers were trying to make them not finish their set. In my mind, that would have been fair enough, if they hadn't already been HALF A FUCKING HOUR LATE. In conclusion; Axl Rose is a douche.
Rose is a douche, but he sounded fine, so I'm not sure why anyone would call his performance lackluster. That said, there is no excuse for them showing up over an hour late if there were no technical problems or problems with someone's health. Pretty douche thing for him to do. But the fans shouldn't have thrown stuff.
