After the tremendously loud and exciting week that has led up to the revealing of the Carnivores Tour and the new single "Guilty All The Same", Linkin Park has now uploaded the lyric video of the brand new song up on YouTube. I hope this isn't the extent of the imagery we get with this album. The artwork for LT and ATS is so exciting and provocative to me, I can't help but feel a little scared that all we're going to get with LP6 is... Clouds.
Not many rappers can pull of an internal rhyming scheme the way Rakim can while still sounding coherent.
It's been like three days man. There will likely be plenty of more intense imagery when the album is announced, especially if The Hunting Party title holds true. I'm expecting some real dark stuff. The clouds are just the calm before the storm.
^ Pretty much. Look at all the imagery and art for the Carnivores Tour. I am assuming the album artwork will be very much styled around that concept.
I wouldn't worry about it. If you look up the Catalyst's Lyric video, you'll notice how different that was from the ATS artwork
I'm also interested in the music video. Sometimes they let us know when they're shooting one. Either they haven't started yet or they are about to. Anyway, I expect one before the album release.
I'm pretty scared about the album artwork as well. This lyrics video is really not at the Linkin Park level. Clouds are nice, but I expected something more. I really love the lyrics videos from Living Things - they had good concept and idea, were all connected with each other. I also think, that the final album artwork was pretty much the same. So I hope, LP6 will offer something better than just clouds. Darkness, energy, speed, sparkle, PERFECTION - just like Guilty All The Same.
Concerning the album artwork, I hope it is inspired by the stuff seen in the Carnivores Tour red poster. That stuff is kickass.
I'm not worried about the artwork at all. You can see in the corners of the single artwork pieces of art in the same vein as that found on the Carnivore Tour poster. I feel the official album cover is going to look significantly more exciting. ...Or to fit the word of the week "visceral".
The album artwork will feature the color red - prominently - with creme/white. A bow and arrow being used with hunting, distorted humans hunting distorted animals. Mark my words.
