Taking a queue from Jay-Z and Linkin Park, Green Day and Ludacris may be "mashing-it-up." That is if Ludacris gets his way. Right now the rapper is keeping his fingers crossed for an okay from Green Day for the project to take place.

"The rapper revealed plans -- or hopes -- to get Green Day's nod to a mash-up album on Jimmy Kimmel Live. Green Day has yet to comment about the rumor."

    Dear God, no. Please...no. :paperbag:

He performed with Sum 41 on SNL. I wanted to see it, but then I found out it came on the night before.

That'd be hillarious if they turned him down.

A rock band needs to mash up with Rehab. Linkin Park toured with them and they have some serious talent.

Looks like Linkin Park has set another trend.

If this happens, I am going to approach it with the most open mind I can... I just can't imagine Ludacris' raps mixed with Green Day's songs... :wth:

Could be interesting but Green Day are one of my favorite bands and I don't wanna see this ruin them

I really can't imagin Green Day mashing up with ludacris though,it seems very weird

Probably be the only time where I could tolerate Green Day.

Collision Course wasn't THAT bad (still haven't wasted my money on it) because LP and Jay-Z are a little more closely related...but Green Day and Ludacris are 2 completley different things and I just don't think it would work at all

Of course, you do know that this is the point of the mash-up... I mean, you can't see The Beatles mashing up with NIN, can you? Yet people have done it. It's supposed to be wierd, it's two different styles merging into one.
