Bid on a chance to visit the set of Vincent D’Onofrio’s new movie, ‘Mall’, which is currently filming in L.A.
The film will mark the feature directing debut of Linkin Park’s Joe Hahn. This is a Linkin Park Presents film and all music for the film will be provided by Linkin Park, who most recently did the score for THE RAID which received rave reviews at Sundance this year.
This line is exactly why this is up in the air, sure they say that Linkin Park will do ALL the music, but they also Linkin Park did all the music for The Raid. Until a band member confirms that LP music will be featured in this film in any way, I personally won't be reporting it. Thanks for letting us know though.

Linkin Park Talk About Writing One Step Closer
thanks for the scan MSC
Wow nice article there.
Appreciate the scan, thanks.

http://www.variety.com/article/VR1118053727 - seems that LP will be handling the soundtrack to The Mall.
Thanks to MSC for the news
Does this mean music from Living Things on the soundtrack, or new music other than that? New music other than Living Things is the only way I see how it would fall under Linkin Parks record deal with warner.
Yes they're handling the music, but it still doesn't confirm if that means they're doing all new music for the album, or if it's just LIVING THINGS.
We really need a band member statement before we can definitely report on this. We're trying to refrain from posting rumors/speculation. There's been no answers as to what "handling the soundtrack" really means. It's going to be counted as another Linkin Park release under Warner (bringing them to practically the end of their contract), but that's all we know.
anyone have any idea about this? apparently some Linkin Park event happened at the Nicofarre on May 8th?
There was the scavenger hunt earlier, but other than that I'm not sure . . .
