SoundSlam: I think it’s fucked up that people will riot for a sports team or something like that but not when the presidential election gets all messed up….On your mixtape you work with a lot of people. You got a lot of guests on it. You got Abstract Rude, Evidence, Rakka, people from J5, is there anyone no on here that will be on the album, or anyone that you’d love to work with?

Chali 2na: Well this mixtape is really a compilation of songs that I’ve done outside the group. I wanted to put all that stuff on one CD so people can grab it for those people that aren’t into those particular groups but like my stuff. I’m like, ‘okay, you’ve never heard this song I’m going to put this on a CD for you plus give you a bunch of exclusives.’ On my album it’s almost the same way. I worked with Beenie Man, Raphael Saadiq, Anthony Hamilton, Supernatural, I worked with Rakka again, Mike Shinoda from Linkin Park, Ozomatli. Just a lot of people that I’ve either worked with or am fans of and they reached out which I thought was really cool.

SoundSlam: When is the album going to drop?

Chali 2na: Tentatively it should be out early February. I’m trying to work towards that right now. I was trying to get it out for October of this year. That’s why I was trying to push to get The Fish Market out, so people will have something to listen to before the album comes out. It got pushed back because of the Eminem’s and the 50 Cent’s at my label, the Marilyn Manson’s, the big wigs that keep that lights on, the sure fires they know they can win with.

Chali 2na: It’s called Fish Outta Water.

it isn't new nes that mike is doing a track That mike is doing a track with Chali 2na , but here is confirmed that it isn't frgt/10 frgt/10 is already on his mix tape

and the new track will be on Fish Outta Water(February)

It was posted by a member on the LPU, I'm not sure where they got the info but it sounds accurate to me. Like something that the LPU would do. I don't have an exact link, sorry. But for LPU members, its in "The Underground".

The 4 GT 10 on this mixtape version is slightly different. The ending has been mixed by Chali 2na to inlcude a small skit and some dj work.

tracks 3,4,8,10,12,13 are pretty good.

Im sure the february release will see a new collab between mike and Chali 2na, as long as the cut is good enough to make it on2 the album.

Mike IS in the studio right now doing a new song with Chali. At least that's what I thought I heard.

He did a new track with Motion Man, Chali and is working with Styles of Beyond. Basically there's gonna be "mike overload" in the next few months by the sounds of things. [/b][/quote]
Mikes in the studio with SOB right now yeh. But he finished the new track with Chali a while ago im sure. I think the album is called "Fish Outta Water" most of the album is aready finished i heard and its just waiting to hit stores. wow so many collabs

2004 is the collaboration year for LP lol....and hopefully 2005 will be the new album year.

According to MTV: EMA Spotlight (or something) Linkin Park has sold 29 million albums.


Maybe it hasnt aired in USA, but they show it often in Holland.

 

the bbc show top of the pops did a short review on CC showing (what i guess) will be on the dvd - just 30 seconds or so.

 

Collision is released in Singapore yesterday [27th Nov]

alas, my country doesnt follow the rules for release dates. oh well.
