They say it's a rumour!
LP Recording Demos For New Album; New Material Next Year?
Only one can hope.
Either way it's good to know that they're already recording demos.
I think an album might be ready by fall 09.
Most likely, but I wish for an August release.
Surely it's newsworthy...
Wow, there are posters on Blabbermouth that actually liked Linkin Park at one point? They've changed.
thats cool to hear.. i hope that we get an album sometime soon
Haha yeh, the thing is i try not to read the posts on that site. There are some godawful people on there, that have no respect for certain artists, especially poor LP. Some people really need to get a life instead of ranting on about things they don't like. Jeez. They should disable people from replying to news threads on there. It's even worse than some vids on youtube.
Anway, great news though. We may expect an album sooner than we think!
Mike's probably just mixing and mastering Live tracks for a new live album imo.
It's kind of the same on lastfm (http://www.last.fm/music/Linkin+Park). Some of the trolls there are actually funny, some are just sexually insecure trv-metalheads being like "LOL DIS BAND R MANSTREEM FAGZ HU CARNT SRHED".
Typical poster on Blabbermouth: "IT'S NOT MESHUGGAH? DIS SUX!"
That's James Joyce compared to most of the actual posts there.
"In The End" by Linkin Park will be a playable track in Guitar Hero: World Tour, YES!!!!! sorry, that's my favorite LP song
on that board, there are scans of some magazine and here is the scan that contains the LP info:
In the End is an excellent choice, IMO.
There's no accounting for taste with whoever wrote that column, if they've put "If we have to" next to In The End when there's a song by Lenny Kravitz going unmentioned in that respect.
There would be better suited songs than that but I guess it makes sense, it is EA after all and they would prioritise a band's most well-known songs regardless of anything else. The Beastie Boys song ought to be the single version of Jimmy James, but it'll probably be Fight For Your Right for the same reason.
Cool interview with Chester I read in my local newspaper today.
Seems kind of newsworthy. Talks about some things with Mike, some things about Minutes to Midnight. I dunno. I thought it was cool.
