According to the story, it started out as a fansite and the the person met Chester at a concert and Chester agreed to have it be his official site.

I smell something...and that's the sweet smell of BS.

I think the point's been established well enough that cbennington.com isn't a reliable source, let's not derail the thread with it any further.

Heres one last point to shoot down any legitimacy that site has. Heres one thing under the facts section

Addictions: used to be addicted to Crystal Meth, LSD and Cocaine, however he`s been clean for MANY years

    http://www.panoramaniacal.com/gordonsamplepage.htm

^ apparently, this is an official jay gordon page. with MP3's. one of which is a supposed "demo" of his remix of "points of authority". being a skeptic, it sounds like it could've been stuck together by anyone. but i don't know. check for yourselves. the page also contains "remixes" of orgy songs which don't sound like they've been touched at all.

oh, and, BTW, it seems this page was only created recently so that means this demo was released 6 years after its creation. which i find suspicious. nonetheless, if it is what they say it is, this is most probably the jay's original mix of the song, before it reached LP for "additional production". :)

Completely 100% official. There is absolutely NO WAY a fan could have made that. First of all, it has vocal samples in it that are not present in the final version of Pts.Of.Athrty, and there isn't a Points of Authority acapella available to the public. Same can be said for the fact that a bunch of the stuff on the Reanimation version isn't present in that remix.

Furthermore, www.panoramaniacal.com (Panoramaniacal Soundscapes) is a big company that does musical scores for big movies, TV shows, and videogames. They have multiple artists on their roster, Jay Gordon is just one of them. The page isn't just supposed to be remixes, it's an example page of Jay Gordon's work. He mixed the original Orgy songs himself.

Thank god the remix turned out the way it did. This demo version is terrible and The Crystal Method's remix was a crime against humanity.

^ I liked the Crystal Method interpretation of it. My only thing with them is that a lot of their material sounds alike.

that's true. between their remix of "points of authority" and their remix of P.O.D.'s "boom", the only difference is the vox which is unique to each song. but i like their actual material, though, pretty dope. :)

Chester did tell us at the Manchester show that they were filming live footage for Given Up... not that that tells us anything about cbennington.com. anyway.

But it comes from that The Hard + The Heavy 2-disc compilation, and Jay did produce the Coal Chamber - Big Truck remix on that. Jay doesn't actually run that website, somebody probably just put up the wrong song from that set.
