For fans of Jason Lancaster (Ex Mayday Parade singer and guitarist) Well, you're in luck. He has a new band called Go Radio and they are pretty good. Their first EP "Welcome To Life" is available and it's really good, I recommend "I Miss You" from it and "Forever My Father." http://www.myspace.com/wearegoradio They also have a new unreleased Piano song they recorded before hitting Tour. (If you like Miserable At Best, I STRONGLY recommend this song) Check it out HERE just scroll down and the player should auto-start it.
It's OK. It's not "Miserable at Best," but it's OK. I want to know why he left Mayday Parade if he was just going to start another band that sounds similar.
Well he was tired of touring and being away from his family or something. He was (at the time) done with music and wanted to have a normal life, but he found he could have a normal life with a band also, except his band wouldn't be as big as Mayday which made it easier for him to continue music for fun.
Ahh. I can understand that. I just couldn't figure out why he'd quit a successful band to be at home just to start another one. It made no sense to me.
It took me a few listens to love Why I'm Home, I agree that most of their songs from the EP kinda suck compared to Mayday but I am a sucker for his piano work, It's just amazing.
