I was browsing the Internet the other week and I stubbled across this band. I think their pretty good. Here's a bio: GIRL REPELLENT has been bringing Rock music to the Phoenix Valley since 1997, becoming well known in the local music scene. With their energetic performance and their solid guitar riffs, you will find yourself wanting more. In their past six years as a band, the quintet has toured and played with national bands like the Ataris, Fenix TX , New Found Glory and Homegrown, reaching the maturity needed to be successful. They have been featured on the local radio station, The Edge 103.9 for the local music showcase, and were named as one of Arizona’s top local bands. The band has the talent and experience needed to be successful, as well as a huge local following and guidance from national recording artists. They recently performed at Edgefest, which featured bands like Bad Religion, Taking Back Sunday, Saves The Day, MxPx and The Used. GIRL REPELLENT has been touring the Southwest for about 3 years now and with their new EP out , entitled “Thanks but no Thanks” , Be sure to check them out when they come to your town.
