Yes it is. Numerous writing guides (AP, APA, etc) have styles for this, and it's considered a grammatical issue in English and Journalism courses.

Just a pet peeve of mine. Sorry if I offended.

Yeah, that was how it was originally written. If I didn't copy and paste from the source I would have done it differently.

I think it is interesting.. but i think who calls an upcoming album of remixes "Reanimation v.2" is a bit too much. As well as who expects a remix album to be as good as the first Reanimation was, and i have a reason to say this: Hybrid Theory was rough sounds, heavy synths and guitars and a quite young-voiced Mike and Chester showing off more screams than singing. Reanimation changed the sound, letting become most of the synth some strings and changing beats into hip-hop/experimental.. Mike's voice got more profound, Chester more melodius, and whole album had a smooth way of flowing and melodies, away from the rough origin.
ATS is already melodic, mixed with all kind of experimental stuff too, so an hypotetical Reanimation v.2 cannot have an awesome impact in my opinion, unless they take again into a whole new direction, ironically to the contrary which means heavy synths and extremely experimental beats, otherwise i don't think ATS songs are to remix, because they have a soul.

EDIT: I think to remix ATS takes as much effort as producing a new album from scratch, specially if they would keep interludes and a story behind the album. Why to waste energy and ideas for that? W&K is good to remix, as The Catalyst but seriously... i don't see how i would remix Burning in the Skies or Robot Boy, Waiting for the End?? Blackout could be already a remix of a track per-se, specially when it comes to the crazy Chester-voice mix.
Maybe Iridescent can be remixed, but in my opinion only in an orchestral way.
I kinda hope someday to get something instrumental from the band instead, that would be interesting.

What I'd expect (that is to say, what I'd really like) if they're gonna go and do that, is a release that's along the lines of Nine Inch Nails' "Things Falling Apart". Gary Numan cover aside, that album is just, straight-up, a few remixes and nothing more, rather than any kind of expansion of "The Fragile".

They did it right with the "Catalyst" EP, so it could just be like that, with remixes of several songs - instead of just the one - and no fan remixes. :)

No remix album will ever live up to "Reanimation". Especially not for me, since "Reanimation" was, like, my very first ever taste of remixes. ;P

I didn't know who they were either until someone explained it in the thread. Maybe because I never cared about Fort Minor.

I'm not into hip hop, I like the rap elements on LP because they contribute to the band's unique sound, but hip hop as a genre I don't find appealing at all.

    Yeah, well, that's fair. :)

I wasn't interested in hip-hop at all until I gave "Reanimation" a listen, I think.

Only If the tracks aren't all filled in with guest rappers, some tracks are much better just with a different spin on them, not gangsta rap

Hold up, does anyone see a pattern here?

    2000 - Hybrid Theory
    2002 - Reanimation
    2003 - Meteora

    2010 - A Thousand Suns
    2011? - ?remix album?
    2012/2013 - ?next LP album?

Where is Minute To Midnight..I can see a album-racist here.....
But I don't think LP would make album that fast.

Just wait a little while. GBC just released a remix of Dancin' On Your Grave, so I'm sure they are wanting to wait after a little while to finish the track and release it. :)

There is honestly no pattern there.
    Wouldn't there be a Reanimation 2 in 2004 then? And a M2M remix in 2008?

Must be one of those fans that hated Minutes To Midnight so much that they act like it never existed.
