You just know they gunna do the nasty. Like everywhere. Real nasty. I wanna see some dragon action - is she gonna be able to keep 3 full-grown dragons at bay? Also, I liked that they finally let Emilia Clarke be naked again 'cause the gap between her last nude stuff was way too damn long.
Man, watching Tyrion put Joffrey in his place never gets old, haha. Good season closer. Too bad we have to wait a year for more.
They delayed a few of the big events that I heard were going to happen in the finale. Next season looks like it will start out with a bang. That ending was so lame, though. We've already seen Dany being praised by slaves once this season. I thought for sure we'd be sent off with something supernatural again like we did with the first 2 seasons. That was just cheesy. Seeing Arya go badass was a welcomed sight. Tyrion is a baller as well. Next season is too far away.
watching the season finale now ... edit: that wasn't too bad. wasn't the strongest season but it was still good. thought arya stark's scene at the camp was awesome.
I'd held off on reading anything about the books for all of season 1, 2, and up until the finale of season 3, then I cracked and read the summaries of pretty much everything, and knew everything that happened in the finale. It's okay, though, cause I'm sure I'll forget by season 4, not to mention that was a bland finale. I don't want to feel for Daenerys too much, despite her being the only one, it seems, who can't lose, because I'm worried Martin's going to just kill her off, too.
I thought the episode was decent. They opened up doors to some interesting prospects. I also thought the Danny-Slave thing was a bit too over the top and it wasn't directed all that well. At some points when Emilia Clark was smiling it seemed she was out of character. That was a bit odd. And the camera panning up n shit... the scene didn't deserve such epicness.
The wolf head was more epic in the books apparently. That was spoiled for me last year and I was really looking forward to seeing it, but it wasn't even sewed on and got about 5 seconds of screen time.
This is the third season in a row we've ended with Daenerys being the last thing we see because she's so awesome and can't lose and has dragons 'n shit. She seems more and more fit to be queen just because she's a cold bitch to all her higher-up's, but if you're poor and not wearing linens of wealth, she'll be your best friend and breast feed you herself if you need it. Holy shit, I'm annoyed by a book character. Well played, Martin, well played. Wait, no, JK, we ended with White Walkers in season 2, but still.
I really wish I hadn't caved and read up on it all - now I know where it's going and it took away from the epicness of it, just slightly.
