    Linkin Park's new album From Zero has leaked a few days ahead of its release on Friday, November 15, 2024 and is now circulating online.

    Feel free to use this thread to discuss the album if you're listening to the songs before the official release.

    Do not post links, ask for links or make any attempts to try and find out where you can download the album. This thread is to contain all pre-release discussion and is only to discuss the album if you're listening to it early.

    Lol yeah. We really are back.

    Leak culture definitely doesn't feel as big as it did back in the day. LP themselves have done a good job mitigating it by having all these listening parties and pre-release From Zero events. A bunch of people will seek it out but many have already heard the album in some form.

    Anyways, I feel like the fact I heard the album in full twice less than 48 hours ago makes the urge to resist leaks really silly. Time to jam and dive a little deeper into this album.

    Cut the Bridge still isn't s standout track on the album to me. I really like Mike's bridge but other than that it's not one of my favourites. Would be interesting to hear live though I think.

    Good Things Go needs to be the next single. I feel like if it isn't a single, that's a huge mistake.

    Upon my first re-listen, I like Cut The Bridge more than at the listening party.

    Standouts of the non-singles are Overflow, Stained, and Good Things Go.

    When I saw Two Faced was going to be the next single / promotional single off the album I was surprised and laughed. It's easily the most Meteora/HT sounding song on the album and might as well be Figure 9 2.0. Definitely one of the least creative and more safe songs they could release to promote the album. I guess if they're trying to reach that old fanbase it makes sense though.

    Stained or Good Things Go would have been more interesting but maybe they're saving those for after the album has been out a bit.
