I only know of Health because they have a song on the radio in Cyberpunk, yeah, I can picture LP sounding like that
Caved in and couldn’t wait out the week, just came home from a listening party in NY. Got to hear it fully through twice and overall I really enjoyed the album, I hate how short it is though. At the moment, Causality is my least favorite song of the album, followed by Heavy is the Crown. Maybe I need to listen to it with my good pair of headphones at home where I’m not being spoken to or disturbed by other people around me talking, but truthfully the YouTube clip posted of it live in Texas the other night doesn’t really change anything for me. Even after the second listen through at the party I still really had a hard time getting into it. Overflow, Two Faced and Stained are awesome songs and I was begging to hear them over and over. IGYEIH and Good things go were extremely solid tracks that I enjoyed and cut the bridge was good, a little generic but it was fine.
You should probably say which video has spoilers in it instead of "one of them has spoilers". Don't make people guess. It's the first video, by the way.
Dude was very critical about both TEM and HITC, labelling them both as boring and safe, and said Emily is a bad choice for new singer
New review! 8/10, it's in Spanish, but still. https://mariskalrock.com/actualidad/critica-de-linkin-park-from-zero/
This Fandango guy has a dodgy reputation despite his high number of YT fans. He was one of the main protagoists who had thematised and amplified the supposed rumours about Emily and the church stories. There was no reflection on his part. He approached the relaunch of LinkinPark with the same attitude. When we talk about ‘main character syndrome’ here, he can only mean himself. I therefore doubt that Fandango's criticism of the album can be taken seriously at all. He is simply biased by rumours that are not reflected.
I'll just say that the way Fantano approached the initial controversy (judgemental, parroting shit, showing no nuances, spreading blame and hatred) was more telling about what kind of person he is, and it kind of sealed his case for me.
Who's Fantano? If attention-grabbing and ad-hominem his affirmations they are, ignore him. Fantano's who?
