I had a large collection of files deleted from my harddrive and emptied from the recycliung bin by a certain program that was scanning for malicious files and screwed up. I know the files are still there, and I've used undelete programs like Active@ Undelete and some other, but they were all demos and only let me see the files instead of being able to restore the files to my computer. Does anybody know any undelete/unerase program that is a free full version that could possibly restore my files? All I'm coming up with is trials.
Not sure, but wouldn't you be able to find a crack site to unlock the trial to be a full version? *cough*
It's a trial version only. There's no registration code form or anything like that. The only way to get a full version is by buying the program and then getting sent the link in an email.
I'm shocked and appaled at such a suggestion, it's just disgraceful. You should be ashamed of yourelf. *cough*mabye a torrent floating around of a full version*cough*

If it isn't too late, I'd just like to point out that there's not much point in buying or finding any software, because your stuff's probably already gone. When you delete something from the recycle bin, it doesn't get deleted. The computer simply knows that, that space on the hard drive can be overwritten. So, as soon as you download something, save something, that space is in a queue of stuff to be overwritten. Installing new software would probably delete it... That said, you may just get lucky. My advice, get Norton Systemworks. Anti-Virus, Firewall, Recovery software, everything you could want really. It'll never happen again.
