Fountains of Wayne

What's your opinion on them? I thought their video for 'Stacy's Mom' is hilarious. It's a song about teenage fantasies right? The kid looks prepubescent though. And Stacy looks MUCH older than the boy. She looks about 13 or 14 and he looks 10 or 11. Funny song.

 

I'm not to familiar with the band and I'm better than to judge their talent from their mainstream one hit wonder.

 

I really dont like them at all, their songs are annoying and make me want to do bad things to people

 

I've only heard 'Stacy's Mom.' I like that song!

 

I have the CD it's really good. They're kind of like a 'Beatles' kind of sound. They're definently hippies, but I do like their music it's pretty good.. Stacy's Mom is the best though of course.

 

Fountains of Wayne have been around for a long time now. They have had hits before. I can't remember any of them though lol. I dislike Fountains of Wayne. Stacy's Mom is one of the worst songs I have ever heard, IMO. :wth:

Stacy's Mom is an awesome song. There new one "Mexican Wine" is a nice song too.

 

I certainly hope their other songs have better taste than Stacy's Mom.
