Fort Minor Release Singles EP

The two known Fort Minor singles, 'Remember The Name' and 'Petrified', are now available for purchase on iTunes. The EP also includes instrumental versions of both songs, as well as a radio-edit of 'Remember The Name'.

For those unfamiliar with iTunes, the songs are 128kbps, encoded in protected AAC format. Each song is .99 cents and the whole album is available for under $6.

I'm not familiar with iTunes but what are the bit rates on their mp3s? ..If they are even mp3s. I've never used iTunes but I'm thinking about it.

 

No. You can buy the EP that contains the songs that Omar mentioned. The album isn't going to be released until November 23.

 

iTunes is good for small purchases in my opinion (such as here, where you can pick what you want from a CD), but I would rather have an actual disc when I buy a full album, no worries about playing it in other places or deleting the songs accidentally.

 

I did that when I downloaded Killswitch Engage's The End of Heartache so I uninstalled iTunes.

Yeah, iTunes used to frustrate the hell out of me. It deleted my iPod content twice. But, after awhile, I got the hang of things and I enjoy it more. Although, they need to make it boot lightning fast like Winamp.

kk this is off topic....but on the fort minor newsletter it said the pics of petrified are up and running?? but why is tak and ryu there?? there not even part of the song! lol!!

I'll probably buy Petrified and Remember The Name, so I can support Mike and get the ''official'' versions. I won't buy the instrumental's though, I don't understand why someone would want instrumental's in the first place. Believe Me should be on iTunes too...

 

So those who think that Mike wasn't up to par on verses, etc. on those songs can go ahead and make their own versions of the song.

So pretty much for remix purposes.
