Ok, this is just completely random. For a long while I've been considering a full format of the whole PC (Maybe an upgrade to XP too since ME is a pile of wank). Anyway, I've been thinking about the programs that I actually really need and it came to me how many programs I actually never use. Onto the point of the topic: What are the top 5/10 programs that you positively...definately...seriously can not live without? I'll get the ball rolling as always!: ** AOL - For internettage reasons *awaits stabbing* ** MIrc ** No Name Script ** Adobe Photoshop - for teh siggies! ** Allll of the Sim games because I'm sad. and of course...Winamp. The trusty player of playerness. Go.
In no order: *Messenger *Ares (I have to get my music from somewhere) *Internet explorer *ahead nero burning rom (how else am I going to burn my cd's?) *Winamp *My virus scan (I keep getting that stupid Trojan horse virus  )

You might not want to upgrade WinME to WinXP if your system hardware is not being upgraded as well, because we did that and the CPU could barely handle playing Half-Life. [*]Winamp [*]MSN Messenger [*]Mozilla Firefox [*]iTunes [*]LimeWire
Really, what are you running for a processor? Also, you must not have much RAM, otherwise you should be fine. I upgraded from 98 to XP with a P3 450 with 196 megs of ram. I can run vice city fine. Of course HL runs great too. I play HL mods all the time
