http://thesecretworldofdamien.com/2007/12/20/forgetting-sarah-marshall/ LOL... this trailer cracked me up. I absolutely loved the ending line to it
Fuck people, it's KRISTEN Bell. Get it right, or i'll slit your throat. But anyways, it looks like a good movie. I completely trust Judd Apatow now after the amazing stuff he put out this year. And yes, that last line was WIN.
Friskey is going to kill me, but before seeing this trailer I thought to myself "oh great, Kristen Bell in a comedy".... but after seeing the previews and who else is in it, this movie does look pretty funny and looks like it'll be a good date movie as well. that last line is pretty funny. ok Friskey, be gentle, i bruise like a peach
With all the win going around around lately, you'd think we'd get some sort of award. But no...the award shows don't recognize internet win.
I knew from this that she at least do ok, since she can do good comedy when she can. It's what her Veronica Mars character was. But I trust her that she's going to do well. And hey, looks of this, it's going to be "R" probably...hearing the f-bomb can be awkward. So you're safe.
I refuse. It seems like everyone who makes a comedy thinks that they have to include the dirtiest jokes known to man in order to make it funny. If these writers had half a brain or less, they'd probably realize this. Movies like Cool Runnings and Princess Bride are STILL awesome because they didn't need any of it. Then again, it seems like the comedy's that come out now appeal more to immaturity than anything.
Being immature doesn't make something not funny. And I don't think Superbad was immature -- I think it was adult in its nature, actually. To each his own, though I thought Borat was crap, and most people loved it.
Plus...hey, that's what high school kids are like. Everything's a crude or dirty joke or comment. Least it's speaking true to us. What would it be if it wasn't? Life ain't a comedy for the whole family...it's R-rated. It's the main reason why people loved this movie, cause it spoke home to us about school and everything inbetween.
About this movie, seems like the other actors will get the funny parts and Kristen Bell has to play the serious one. If that's the case, I think they made a big mistake.
I like his films for the most part but Apatow (or whoever does it for him) can't edit films for toffee. That pretty much killed Knocked Up.
