For those who've seen Linkin Park live...

...what are they like? How does Mike's rapping and Chester's singing compare to what's on the CDs? What's the music sound like live? Any better, any worse?

 

you have to see linkin park to understand how good they are live.

Though I don't really like their music as of late, their live shows are incredible.

 

I've seen them live twice and they do put on an entertaining show. You really have to experience it. Mike and Chester do an excellent job performing the songs. They pretty much nail their parts dead on (atleast the shows I've been to they have). Linkin Park is a great band to see live and I definitely advise you to attend a show in the future if you can.

I second that, got to go to 2004 Project Revelution with Korn Snoop and The Used, i was front row and the entire time I was seeing LP they blew my mind, way better live than the album, it's my best day in recent memory.

I saw PR04 twice, both in the pit. I've never sat in seats to see them but I would assume having pit tickets is a much better experience.

 

I want to go see Linkin Park badly, maybe when they come around me. Hopefully they'll start playing live shows again when they're new album comes out. Why don't they play live shows anymore? They should still play them now. Or is Mike's album too important for him to recognize the band?

 

Linkin Park toured A LOT in the past few years. They needed a break. Is there something wrong with that? Yes, I would like them to start touring again as well, but they deserve a break. They will start touring again once their new album comes out.

 

I think the album would not be out so long since.

the one in ATL had a pit, but it was so small it was pathectic, and the seats you had room to move, at the meteora world tour the pit was awesome, but for PR4 i would prefere were i was.

 

Of course they're coming out with a new album. Not sure when but it SHOULD be out sometime in 2006. That's probably pretty obvious but that's all I know about it so far.

 

Watching Live in Texas would be nowhere near good enough to actually being there

 

i dont know really.. Linkin park are great at stage, but i would wish they had a bit more anger/hardcore/wild on the stage, i know they done some crazy shit before, but damn they are great Live, and damn Mike really does a great job.....

But back in 03 when Ill Niño, Chimaira and Spineshank did the Roadrage, i was soooo drunk, and it was 100% Ultimate ....

I really agree, i think Linkin Park acts really really good live.
I love all the songs live, but there are two songs i like more on the real mp3.
Somewhere i Belong which i think sounds a bit falsh in Live in Texas, and I also thinks Faint is better on the "normal" version.

What do u think?
