I don't like Henry at all !!!!!! why does he have to act so much !!!!! And i hate C.Ronaldo and Portugal, bunch of cynic rock-throwers !!!! ..So, i m just gonna support ZIZU, i want him to lift the cup...

Zidane is undoubtedly one of the best player of our era !!!!!!

That extra-time period was so back-and-forth. It was extremely entertaining.

A perfectly placed shot by Grosso. Although I was going for Germany, I have to applaud the Italians for their attempts in extra time. A post 20 seconds in, then a crossbar 2 minutes later. Germany missed a few chances as well.

I'm going for France against Portugal, so if France and Italy play in the final, I'll be cheering for whichever team dives the least. Italy had a bit of it yesterday, but not enough for them to turn me away from possibly cheering for them. If Portugal wins, go Italy.

This worldcup has kind of been a let down for me... almost every match has been descided by penalties, that's really anti-football.

Let's hope this final will be better!

NONONONO MARK! Don't support France! They'll lose if you do. :p
Like I'm the one to speak, though, my absolute favorite team was Argentina :sigh:. Ah well.
Italy in a.e.t. were wowish. I mean, so many shots on goal, because a penalty shootout with Germany is not only scary, ti's also an un sportish footballish lotteryish way to end the match. If they hadn't scored at the end, it wouldhave been just wrong. and I didn't like both Ballack and Totti, they seemed determined to fake injuries. And Buffon's save of (Podolski's?) shot was good. GOOD.
Zizou VS Figo. The thought is appeasing.

Oh, because I dunoo...lightening up sounds more like...ah well, for get. It just didn;'t seem like the right phrase, :p.
Yeah, more lively futbol would be greatly appreciated, so France? Italy? Yeah, you...LIVEN IT UP.

who's up for 6-7 going into a .e.t with 4 red cards (actual ones, not Holland-Potugal ones), 2 own goals and a major arguement on the pitch?

But Italy's defense is un-breakable...the only time Buffon was beaten was by his own player...:ermm:

I found that statement about Buffon rather hilarious, for some reason. Maybe it was the way you put it, Chrys. And I'll be rooting for France, (a) for Zizou, my first footballing love (in a non teenish way) and because ever since I saw a replay of 1998 I badly wanted to see him in action, in a final again, (b) for France, the first ever football team I ever rooted for (it died out a bittle when I got obsessed with the Albiceleste) and (c) Even if Henry fakes a little, France does play cleaner. But Italy's great defence, Fabio's captainship and Buffon's saves make me not mind if they emerge triumphant as well. So ALLEZ LES BLEUS and FORZA AZZURI! Remember, i suppored the team who wins.
