source: http://www.videogamesblogger.com/20...-and-talks-multiplayer-and-other-features.htm So a Swedish magazine got some tasty tidbits for the upcoming X360 game. Old-school Maps Three maps from previous Halo games will be making a return on the 360: Valhalla (Blood Gulch), High Ground (Zanzibar), and Snowbound (Frost Bite). New Weapons Three new weapons have been confirmed: An anti-vehicle weapon called the Spartan Laser, a Brute weapon called the Spiker, and a new grenade which sticks onto walls and emits nails from it. New Vehicles Only one confirmed so far. Remember the Mongoose vehicle that was cut from 2? Well, it's back. It can carry two people (driver and passenger), with the passenger being able to fire their weapon. Multiplayer Features Man Cannon: It's kinda like those crazy cannons from those circuses. You can fire people over long distance, and hopefully, at other people. Multiplayer bots will not be making a debut. Lastly, the X-button will do something special, and the bumpers will be used to reload weapons independently. Halo 3: Legendary Edition The case will be shaped in the form of the Master Cheif's helmet, and will include 4 discs. The first one will be the game disc. Disc two has documentaries and comments from developers. Disc three will be about the spin-off series that have spawned from the Halo series (Red vs. Blue, This Spartan Life, etc.). Lastly, the fourth disc will contain all of the cutscenes from Halo 1-3 in HD, and one of the discs will have something from the upcoming Halo movie on it.
Cool, although I doubt you're going to get anything from the Halo movie in the "Legendary Edition" since they pretty much put the movie in "developmental hell"
In MP, you can record your match and save it to your hdd. you can watch it from a thirdperson, firstperson and many other views. and we'll get a ingame-trailer on November 20. So I heard, dont quote me on that

In the books, there are variants of almost every weapon. The pistol in Halo 2 is a variant of the pistol from Halo. So, I think they should put both of those weapons in Halo 3, as well as any other variants of the pistol. Also, in the books, there's a variant of the MA5B rifle: the MA5K, which is a stripped-down version of the rifle. Like I said, I think they should put both rifles in the game, and any other variants. It'll make for more strategy in the game, as opposed to just choosing the weapon that packs the most punch. I think they should set it up so you need to at least attempt some strategy while you're playing the game, and different variants of the weapons would be key in that. In the books, too, there are variants of the sniper rifles, where the snipers put in simple narc-darts to demobilize who ever they're shooting at, instead of directly killing them. This could open up more strategies, where you might have to simply subdue your opponent for questioning or something like that (like in Halo 2: instead of beating the fuck out of that Prophet, you subdue him for questioning). There are also variants of all the vehicles that could (and should) be added to the game: there are at least four other variants of the Warthog; several are for troop transportation, one is for traversing snowy terrain. I just think they really need to open up strategy in Halo 3 instead of making it a "run and shoot" game.
i see i see, among those i think a bit of squad control over the marines and ODSTs and other units would add an interesting dynamic to the game..
