What was the first album you ever actually forked your own money over for? For me, it was Pretty. Odd. by Panic at the Disco. Technically. When I say technically, it's because I got two albums. The other was Ghosts I-IV. But Pretty. Odd. was first on the receipt, so I consider that the "first" one. By the way, this was yesterday. Exactly (almost to the minute) one week before my seventeenth birthday.
Meteora and Fallen, I think. Got them both the same day and since that was like a decade ago I don't have the receipt, so I can't say which one of them was "technically" the first one.
With my own hard earned money, probably Meteora. It took me like 5 months to save up $20 for that album, which I ended up buying again after I fucked up the disc.
