So i downloaded a few Opeth albums and they won't go into itunes. i try add them and it sort of shows them being processed or whatever, but they don't appear in the library. I've got no idea what to do.

Here are some properties of the files:

    Bit Rate: 320kbs
    Channels: 2(stereo)
    Audio Sample Rate: 44hz

It's unprotected and the files are just normal mp3s.

Please help, the itunes help thing is hopeless.

It's possible they are not tagged correctly, and thus, may be in your library, but are not sorted correctly. I have this problem sometimes when adding files in winamp, so sort your entire library by date added to make sure they are really not there.

same thing has happened to me, especially if the songs are downloaded off something like bittorrent or limewire sometimes they don't have any information on them so they just come up as like "track 1" or whatever with no artist name.

If you are trying to add a group of files, sometimes iTunes won't do it. You might want to try adding the folder instead of going to add files. I had that problem when I used to use iTunes.

Winamp is decent, Mali. It's got a built-in media library like iTunes but doesn't take up nearly as much as far as system resources go. And you can customize it with sweet skins.
