Well, this is actually, my 1st post, but anyway. I think "Figure .09" should've been named "Part Of Me" and "Part Of Me" should have been named "I Feel It". I don't see how "Figure .09" could've been named that way. What do you think?
Figure.09 was a working title that stuck. The same applies to Papercut, Points of Authority, and Faint, and would have applied to Untitled had LP not changed the title to "In the End" because D'Angelo happened to have a hit single called Untitled at the time Hybrid Theory came out.
well some linkin park songs tend to have akward names ie. Points of authority, Papercut, and Faint.. all those songs dont have the song title in them so ya..
So in "Faint" it actually says "I can't feel"? Beacuse I've read on many lyrics site it says "I can't faint", but I ain't sure either.
Yes, it's "I can't feel" ...first of all, it's clear as day in the song, second of all that's what it says in the Meteora booklet. Most lyrics websites are complete shit.
Awkward? What do you mean? I like all those titles, they fit their respective songs perfectly. There's bias there, obviously, but, what the hell ...
No, you don't understand. Ask him when was the first show LP played a specific intro or outro to a song. He knows. Astat IS LP.
Yeah i noticed that ages ago when I heard both songs. Funny coincidence that the songs chorus also has "what I've done" and "Given up" in it too XD (And if Leave out all the rest would have been called "fear" it'll of had 4 song titles in it!)
I have thought of this too. But Part of Me was created so far before Figure.09 it would be weird to go back, rename it, and then name Figure.09 Part of Me.
