Anyone going to the show at Madison Square Garden? I figured if anybody from the forums would be there we could meet up and chill for a little while, it would be cool to meet up with some members from the forums.

Sorry, I'm going to the one on the 18th. :p But I know a friend going to that one.

So basically, this post contributes nothing to your thread.

I am! I'm so damn psyched, been wanting to see them for a long time. Haven't been to a show IN NYC either so that makes it better. Can't meet up though, have to go straight from work, and go home right after (can't get off work the following day)... It's gonna be awesome though

I'm going to the NYC show. I'm going to be in section 202, Row A, Seat 15. Where will you be at?

I'm in Sec. 305, row B, seats 5-8... Not the *best* seats, close-wise, but I was happy to get them--everything else was behind the stage. So I'll take it! I should have a good view of everything going on. Can't wait.

Anyone else going to this show think that they should do something special for this concert?

Well, not sure if I can meet up or anything though, but I'm going and am really excited for this. :D

Unfortunately I was one of the people who got some pretty crappy seats during the LPU presale and got stuck with Sec. 311, Row H, Seats 10-12. I have regrets of not trying to get better ones, but I'm happy enough to have seats. Now, I guess I find the angle alright.

    Exactly my point.

Then again, I'd probably wouldn't be able to see anything in the pit considering I'm the shortest one of my group. (Unless it was like the last concert where I was basically in front, but these two ladies still mananged to find a way to block my view 1/4 of the concert!)

Woooo that show was AWESOME. I lost my voice. Work is gonna suck tomorrow (in about six hours actually...)... BTW, I totally called the special guest earlier in the day. I love being right.

    Great time...

I just got back from the concert. It was insane, LP knows how to put on a show.

Overall, it was an amazing concert. Sadly, I can't describe it in any other witty or cool way.

The show was spectacular, as soon as LP came on, everybody in Madison Square Garden stood up for the whole entire concert. Then when LP came out with their second encore, I saw Mike doing the Jay-Z sign and then Jay came out to perform two songs. I think LP finished it off with Bleed It Out.

This show was definitely worth the money.

I loved Collision Course, but Mike has said numerous times before that the Grammy performance was "the end of the Collision Course era." Huge step backwards in my opinion, especially for a show they hyped as much as MSG.

I understand that bringing Jay in is a step backward, BUT it was a show in NYC, so they had to do something special. Also, when Jay came out the concert reached one of its highs in terms of crowd excitement.
