Here's just a few of my fav Chester moments/performances live. I'll mix it up. Rebellion (the screams at the bridge) Dead by Sunrise - My Suffering (Entire Club Tattoo performance way before Out of Ashes was released) Camp Freddy - Bullet with Butterfly Wings ( Smashing Pumpkins cover / Chester CRUSHES it) What about yours?
There's so many to choose from. The ones that stand out for me are his opening scream at Rock am Ring 2001 alongside that insane crowd reaction, his smile when he hears the crowd reaction for the first verse of In The End live, his Hunger Strike performance with Chris Cornell and lastly, of course his scream of "I do" at the Jimmy Kimmel live show
Chester has always sounded better to me on non-LP songs - they're not always better songs but it's always covers and whatnot where I sit up and take notice of his voice
What does that matter? This is not about Linkin Park performances, it's Chester performances. Plus his performances outside of LP were often better than his performances with LP imo. That's not to say that his performances with LP were bad, not at all, just that other styles of music often suited his voice better. A few of my faves: Rolling In The Deep - Itunes Festival One More Light - Jimmy Kimmel Live Breaking The Habit - Webster Hall Edie - Kings of Chaos I Alone - Camp Freddy Bullet with Butterfly Wings - Camp Freddy My December - KROQ Almost Acoustic Xmas
