I am curious as to what your favorite book is? Mine is a bit obscure, and most people that do know what it is look at me funny when I tell them its my favorite book. Its called the Divine Comedy by Dante. It means a lot to me on a personal level, as when I was little, my grandfather read it to me in the original Italian and then a second time in English. Its one of my favorite memories.
Oh jeez I don't have 1 favorite book. :O It'd be or the Harry Potter books or China Miéville's Perdido Street Station. I can't choose!
I'd have to go with Invisible Monsters by Chuck Palahniuk. It's just pure genius. Also, I really love A Clockwork Orange and 1984.

Lord of The Flies and A Clockwork Orange are the ones I would feel the most comfortable labeling my favorite. There's so many I really love, though...
