The first (apparently) single of Fall Out Boy's new album has leaked. It's called "This Ain't A Scene, It's An Arms Race". I downloaded it. It's decent. It's different. I'm not sure if I really like it very much. It kind of reminds me of Panic! At The Disco/Justin Timberlake, just kind of decent. What do you all think?
It is their new single and I like it. It's very catchy. I do prefer old Fall Out Boy but hopefully this supposed new direction they are taking will work out. I definitely can't wait until their new album drops.
I just want to hear the Jay-Z collaberation that they did. Other than that, I don't really care about Fall Out Boy.
Jay-Z is only doing the intro on the album, not an actual song with them. I read that he announced that when he was recently on TRL.
Haven't you learned that from Kiss, Test? As for the song...hmm, i'm not too 100% sure if I like it or not. Like Andrea said, it's different for what it is. No matter how the new song is or not, i'll still check out their new album, since I like some of their music.
I thought the song was really bad at first but it grew on me. The chorus is very FOB-ish but the verses are a lot like the boy bands of the 90's. At least that's what it reminds me of. Carpal Tunnel of Love, however, is a pretty good song IMO.
It's grown on me far too much xD The other song though, "Carpel Tunnel Of Love", is too much like "Our Lawyers..." in my opinon.
I don't know what song they performed on the AMAs but it was terrible. Every time I've seen them live on TV they've sounded absolutely terrible. I'll give their album a chance though.
Oh, shit. I think the beat makes it quite terrible... it's really catchy, though. That's true and the chorus is okay for a FOB single. I'll definetely check their album out but I'm not too sure about this song. For once I hope it won't grow on me because I've still got hopes on a new Fall Out Boy that won't be too Pop-ish...
Watch the new video "This Ain't A Scene, It's An Arms Race" here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9FcBnaLjxY4 I really like it. I like how they poked fun at themselves.
