I`m sure by now most of the UK users of this site and probably many worldwide would have seen the pictures printed by british paper `Daily Mirror` of UK soldiers abusing iraqis, holdin guns to genital areas, guns in mouths, urinating on iraqis etc... when i first seen the photos and read the stories, i found it hard to belive how people could be like this, as the mirror said itself, this truly was vile, but 2 weeks or so down the line the government deems these pics as fake, with the mirror editor still denying that claim that they were. Although yesterday (may 15) the mirror editior Piers Morgan (dunno if thats spelt right) stepped down (although i think we all know he was forced down) and the mirror apologised for the photos they now agree are fake, saying they were hoaxed and so on, i honestly cant belive it, why on earth would someone do something like this, produce fake photos of this nature, if theres money in it or not, that is sick, and the consequences have been huge, naturally seeing something like this would make the british troops vunerable and make their job harder and putting them at risk and its also caused the daily mirror losing a damn good editor.

I hope 2 god they find those responsible for the pictures and punish them, doing what the pictures displayed may be appropiate.

What are your thoughts on it all ?

I had to read that a couple of times because there wasn't any periods in it. Please make it easier on us and use periods to end sentences. ;)

Lots of people make hoaxes. They're ususally attention-deprived fools with no lives who deserve to be fined for their actions. Of course April FOols Day jokes are a part of the day, but other than that, hoaxes such as these should bring big consequences (not necessarily jail times, but hefty fines) to the starters.
