I don't normally side with Derek here, but if it means pissing people off...
YES HE FUCKING CAN
Somewhere I Belong is still one of my favourite Linkin Park songs. That's right, Minus, come at me bro!
I expect a thrilling reply from Minus now.
haha let the Battle comence! Though I'd love to hear a crazy "session" type instrumental on LP5 as it goes...
No, please, no more instrumentals. No more interludes. Just plain old songs.
Thanks Ree. Loving the vibe and debate around here, even though there could be plenty of disagreements between opinions, there's still a nice atmosphere, and no tension, which is something you don't see very often in forums. LPA is awesome.
BTW I remember someone talking about the teasing with ATS, the puzzles and stuff and how it would be unlikely for them to repeat that with Album 5 because of the theme, etc. But I wouldn't know which is harder to guess, the puzzles from ATS or trying to interprete these articles. True head-scratcher, lol. I think we already got our puzzle here.
Maybe it's just some bias showing, but the way their describing the album is the type of sound Deftones are famous for.
I honestly wouldn't mind that at all, of course it would need to be Linkin-Parkified. Diamond Eyes was a SICK album!
I don't think so, Deftones are kind of.. slow.
Even something off their older album like this,
hi just a quick note for uk linkin park fans the UK release of The Raid will be May 18th and to set your calender.
I'm willing to bet there'll be at least one instrumental, since it's been like that since the HT days. Cure For The Itch on HT, Session on Meteora, Wake on MTM, and now multiple tracks on ATS (though they're technically interludes). Personally, I wouldn't want them to stop doing instrumentals; I enjoy them just as much as the lyrical songs.
their music, it's like dragging. if you know what I mean. expecially the vocals.
Wow... Not everyone here thinks the exact same way about Meteora as more opinionated members like Minus. We all are not what you said we were. I, for one, like everything the band has ever written, recorded, or drawn up. Not to toot my own horn, but, I'm a completely likable guy. You dont even know me. Coming in here making your posts like you have some kind of attitude towards everyone is not really fair. That being said, maybe you should get to know everyone before you make false assumptions and accusations towards people as a whole. Anyways, I guess, welcome to the LPA.
A more upbeat, energetic mixture of MtM and ATS is what I'm getting from this.
