LP played the song with Mike on keyboards, it was only like 90 seconds long though.

sorry....Im not catching what you guys are talking about...

Its too bad I missed it.....but unless LP were going to do something new....I dont see the point in watching or listening to it....

I mean....it defeats the purpose of it being live......

sure am glad though that I didnt miss Pink Floyd....

Actuallly everyone who left there said Linkin Park/Jay-Z was the best act of the Philly show. So maybe it sounded better there? It's entirely possible.

They weren't that bad guys. I think we are just waiting to criticise Linkin Park for something. Half the people on the boards don't even like them much anyway. It was 'cool' to like Linkin Park a few years ago just like it was 'cool' to like Guns N' Roses in the late 80's. The 'cool' factor has pretty much died down and we're into different bands now. But it's no reason to bash Linkin Park just because we don't like them as much as we used to.

I still like GNR. Does that mean I'm outdated?

No, but Guns N' Roses popularity died down similary to Linkin Park's. They had a huge debut album, then only half or so bought the next album.

I wouldn't agree he's a poser, but I cringed when he was singing the lyrics "big pimpin' up in NYC" and "if you're feeling like a pimp".

Wasn't a bad concert except for the Jay-Z/ Linkin Park songs. I don't understand how what was supposed to be a mash-up album can become like a new band. It was just one mash-up album. Why doesn't Jay-Z just join the band? If they think Collision Course is an excuse for an album, they are sorely mistaken. Same as Reanimation and Live in Texas, they're not albums, merely live and remixes. The only real albums Linkin Park have are Hybrid Theory and Meteora.

A lot of people (on some of the message board I go to) said that was LP/JZ's set was the best behind Pink Floyd's.

And I agree. I don't see why everyone is saying that they sucked. I thought they were great.

I'm surprised this isn't all over Demonoid right now. There are about 5 versions of the Pink Floyd set on Demonoid right now.

I can't find Björk's set. Damnit. Hopefully someone ripped it from the internet webcast and it appears in the next few days.

Wow pretty harsh u guys, the whole point of the show was to raise awareness not say "Linkin Park sucked major Donkey ASS", I was happy to see Lp perform alone. I loved the music and considering that it wasn't their own personal concert they rocked the hell outta the venue with Hov. Mistakes or not at the end of the day no one's perfect and there are no mistakes when it comes to doing something as big as Live 8 ;)

 LP and LP/JZ WILL NEVER END Lol.

Reanimation was the highest selling remix album..ever.

And Collision Course was a side project, not an album.
