In an exclusive deal with Neil Mccooeye, we have the Live 8 Linkin Park Concert featuring Jay-Z for your listening pleasure.

Please go to here to listen to the songs.

And dont forget to sign the petition to end world poverty at www.live8live.com!

Together, we can make a difference.

As a service to our visitors, we now have a 33min long 31MB mp3 for our cable users, and seperated mp3s for our 56k users. However, both are different rips of the same show and the seperated rips are recommended if you do not want to have one large file.

Update: The Linkin Park Association would like to express their gratitude to the many thousands of people who have chosen The Linkin Park Association for their Live 8 needs.

Mccooeye.com has logged officially over 1,200 downloads of this concert to date, all within a less than 48 hour period. This is an amazing feat for any site, so we are definetely very appreciative of you, our valued reader's support.

As a small token of our appreciation we would like to provide you, our readers with some photographs from Linkin Park's Live 8 set, taken by Betanews.com photographer Edward Oswald. Enjoy!

I'll have to reluctantly agree. This wasn't his WORST performance (trust me, I've seen unlistenable ones) but he seemed very rusty and very off in Crawling and some other harder to sing songs.

I thought his pitch was dead on in Breaking The Habit though.

I agree. With Chester usually it's either totally hit or totally miss and here it was sadly the latter for the most part.

Breaking The Habit was great, though.

How long has it been since their last concert, though? Just wondering.

It's been like January since they last played, so considering that's...6 months since they performed live, I think they have an excuse to be a little rusty.

I just hope it was a sore throat and that Chester isnt slowly losing his screaming voice.

Keep in mind that the songs LP played were all subdued and sappy without much screaming. "Somewhere I Belong" is notoriously one of Chester's worst live songs. "Breaking The Habit" was spot on though.

Yeah, and it doesn't help that the version we know of features Chester-is-sick recording.

A petition to end world poverty, come on now we don't live in a utopia.

But yah decent performance. Chester really annoyed me when Jay-Z came out and he was trying to rap some of the lyrics. Sometimes I like to think Chester is a poser.
