Enter Shikari just released their new song "Radiate". It's the second of the three song they recorded and will release this year "just for the hell of it", the first being "The Paddington Frisk". So, any thoughts?
I am a massive Shikari Fan so I might be a little bit biased. They've never let me down yet with any of their releases and those new songs are no exception. The Paddington Frisk is short and fun (IMO it feels a little bit too short), but Radiate is a little bit better IMO and quite catchy. Let's see what the third song will be like.
I went back over "A Flash Flood Of Colour" the other day and I noticed that almost every song on that album is awesome, there is literally no track I wouldn't smash at full volume.
Yeah, AFFOC is great. Probably my fave Shikari Album. It seems they only keep progressing and getting better and better (though I got into them during the Take To the Skies era, hence that Album still holds a lot of nostalgic value for me)
I've only ever heard "A Flash Flood Of Colour", as the launch of that album is how I got into them. I should probably hit up some of their previous material.
A Flash Flood of Colour is the best, however Take to the Skies and Common Dreads are great too. Common Dreads has some of the best intros to an album I've ever heard. Here, tonight...
A Flash Flood of Colour was amazing, among the best records of 2013. Glad to see theyre still making new stuff even though continously supporting AFFOC. Radiate is a great song, and feels like it fits the AFFOC vibe. I've been a fan since the Take to the Skies days, and I've yet to be disappointed.
A Flash Flood of Colour was released in 2012. In fact, it was released so early in the year that it could even be considered a 2011 album.
