Yea I'm confused. If it's not actually on the album (the 2 discs), why are they putting it out as a single? :wth: Is Mike's going to be a b-side to the other remix of the song?

Besides that, this thread is about what CD the remix will be on and it being released as a single, The actual news was posted awhile ago.



It does seem a bit odd that the single would be on a limited edition but oh well, I want to hear what Mike's done with it. A lot of the remixes are from like, the 1980's and 1990's. Mike's name is the only one I recognize.

Well, they did say something about the single on the depeche mode site.

"The release of this album will be preceded by the single, "Enjoy The Silence", featuring mixes by Mike Shinoda, Timo Maas and Ewan Pearson, plus additional tracks mixed by LFO, Blackstrobe, Goldfrapp and Headcleaner. The single is released October 18th on Mute Records (October 19th on Reprise Records)."

By saying 'remixing', you don't mean by any chance that Mike would also sing his own part on this song, right?!

 

This guy in the other thread, Jim Bob confirmed that Mike's voice appears nowhere on this remix.

yes i did...thas becos it got deleted by one of u admins. I made a thread named "Is it a single?" and i said in there that i heard that the remix was gonna be a single and i said it was from MTV *but i didnt post a link lol, maybe thas why)

the admin guy replied and said he wasnt sure if it was a single but then he went on2 say that i should have posted this in the existing thread for that subject.

It looks like something very sloppily put together in Photoshop. Why would Depeche Mode's artists use a shitty fan-made LP font?
