Today as promised since the embargo was lifted on the "PSM" scans over a week ago, EIDOS has revealed the first ingame screenshots of the upcoming Tomb Raider game with news and information promised in the couple of weeks. View Here Eidos have made it so that interestingly enough, you need to register to the site to access the new and exclusive "croft VIP" multimedia. But for those who aren't feeling like registering to see the screens and 3D 360 screenshot, here they are as follows: Jungle Levels Frozen Temple Area (gun models appear to be in progress) == And here is an animation of the movable 360 3D screenshot, with Lara doing what appears to be a 'pre-jump' animation. And for those who have DSL/Cable you can download the big version of the animation from here: http://larashots.com/images/anime/tr7_anime_lg.gif == So thoughts? Opinions? Is Crystal Dynamics (Legacy of Kain developers) doing a good job having taken over the series, or is this failing to peak your interest?
the graphics arent the best but i think they are going to improve when it is released. Oh,i have a question:In what consoles is the game going to be released?is it only for PS2? I love the first tomb rider i love all the moves she made! :chemist:
Tomb Raider: Legend is currentely slated for PS2, PC, PSP and Xbox. (For the record..nobody knows the meaning or origins of the title "Legend" as of yet.) Personally I think the screenshots look great. They werent aiming to be ULTRA realistic (i.e. Resident Evil 4/MGS3) as they wanted to make Lara look real whilst keeping the 'cartoon feel' of the game. I believe the mix is pretty decent, although I agree the waterfall level needs some tweaking compared to the other 'much more polished looking' indoor and jungle area levels.
