Anyone here heard of them? I first heard of them a few weeks ago when I found out another favorite band of mine was suppose to be playing at a local place with them, and from the first song I was hooked. The original band that I was planning on going for didn't end up playing, but I went for these guys anyway and they put on a awesome show. Unfortunately there was only a handful of people left (or maybe they just gravitated towards the bar at the other end of the place, couldn't tell..), but they performed like there was a full crowd and sounded amazing, IMO. I swear if Story Of The Year and Papa Roach were like fused together you'd get this band. They're good though. Nice find.

yeah, I've heard of these guys, I'm pumped for their CD in two weeks. I got several of their earlier songs, should be nice to have afull length LP

So this is a super old thread, but since I'm still going to go on about them I figured I would just recycle.. Just yesterday they released a new song, "Because of You", on their myspace. This is the first new material since their cd came out just over a year ago, and this should be followed by an EP sometime soon. As for the song.. I like it quite a bit, but I may be biased. One of the biggest issues with their last cd was the production (not the bands fault, obviously), and just with this one song you can tell that is no longer an issue, which is great for them. I think "Because of You" has a very radio-friendly vibe to it, which is also good.. I can actually imagine it playing on our local radio station today. What do you all think?
I like the new song, I just hope it SOUNDS like this ON the CD. I was extremely disappointed with their CD. I had followed them on myspace for a year or so before the CD came out and loved those version and then when I got the CD, I was disgusted on how the new mixes sounded. They were awful. The band has a lot of potential, but they definitely got the short end of the production stick.
I hear ya. I can't recall who did what with their last cd but it sounds like they have different people working on this ep, so hopefully there won't be any of the same issues. Obviously it's hard to tell right now with only one song, but if anything I think it sounds different (in a good way) from their last stuff, so I'm still looking forward to it. Now we just need to find out how long "soon" will be.

Listened to them a few times and I'm really starting to like the new songs. They have definitely improved their sound, that's for sure! I'm very happy with the direction that they seem to be heading in.
