How much Divx-encoded video can I fit onto a 4.7 gig DVD without losing quality? Is there a certain minimum bitrate I should keep?
If you're burning DivX files straight onto a DvD, don't expect it to play unless you have a DivX dvd player.
REALLY! Are you sure? I mean, I'm not trying to be a jerk but I think your estimate is way too high. I was thinking two movies at the most.
Well lets do the math again because when it comes to math, I'm a moron. I can fit half a movie reencoded onto a 700 meg CD. 2 halves would be 1.4 gigs. 1.4 gigs equals one movie. 4.7/1.4 = 3.35714285714285714285714285714286 So yeah.. I fucked up. I should have MULTIPLIED 700 by 2. So yeah, around 3 If I fucked up on something I should know like this... I think I'll cry when I see that mark from that major test I wrote today in math.
Small drop in quality, nothing too terrible though. I haven't really done that in awhile though, took up too many cds... And PS, I did fail that math test. 20%
LOL. Math is my stong point, got 100 on my lastest test. Also, can the mods tell that you deleted your post above, because I don't want to be nailed for double posting. Lastly, thanks a lot for your help. That means I could fit about 10 anime episodes per disc, instead of only 5.
Sorry I realized it looked like that after I posted it Dear mods, there was no double post, I was too lazy to edit something, so I deleted it.
