Assault rifle fire echoes in the alley
While tank shells explode in a rage in the valley
Another one lays at a soldier’s feet again
A supposed enemy that we can’t defend
And after they take their refuge inside the mosques
They have to try to slip in as sly as a fox
‘Cause the commander in chief deemed it a just cause
Because he’s too stupid to admit his own flaws

How can they say
That everything is okay
When they’re the ones who raised the dust
That we’re all choking on
They can’t find truth
So what the hell is the use
When they’re the ones who broke our trust
And now we can’t move on

So apparently the mission was accomplished
Yet the enemy seems to remain unvanquished
The man representing our entire country
Is still rampaging on a massive killing spree
He won’t admit that the entire war is wrong
That we’re inside a country that we don’t belong
He’s just using his weapons of mass deception
By hiding the devil inside his reflection

How can they say
