    Drugs.

There are a hundred miseries that I hold,
I can’t seem to do what I’m told,
I’ve ruined a state, for which I’d regret,
I’ve lost it all, I wish to forget.

    Chorus.
I wish to forget those lines of hate,
Wish to forget the pain that I create,
I wish to forget my life, my name.
I wish to forget how I played every game.

I’m sorry for having pushed you into this,
But every sour moment holds me in awesome bliss,
I can’t explain how proud I seemed to be,
Proud of how I was lying about myself to me.

    Chorus.
I wish to forget those lines of hate,
Wish to forget the pain that I create,
I wish to forget my life, my name.
I wish to forget how I played every game.

It’s all so hard when you want to come clear,
You’re crouched in unwanted ness, and you fear,
About the lives of those whom you hurt so much,
You feel insecure, you’ve lost their clutch.

This is actually not that good a description of the feeling felt when one has been addicted to drugs. That is because I’ve never experienced it…ever. But I hope this message will reach all, with no offence, of course. What I’m only trying to say here is that drugs are a coward’s way of running away from depression which has to be faced by one and all, no matter what stand that person holds. It’s important to understand all the time that whatever you do, the consequences will definitely affect you and most of the time the people around you too. It’s too easy to get into a mess that is like a web that we weave on if we keep hiding it. Be human to you body and mind… every solution won’t be far behind.

ooh, yeh...hope you like the poem too! ^_^

Nice work, not your best, it felt to forced, i don't think it was something as you said "have enough knowledge about" as you have never had them <_< (like we believe that)

But yer, still a good piece of work and i to hope your message reaches people who need it.

it wasn't all that bad but i do agree that it is not your best work. unless you have totally experienced something, it is hard to write about it.

i do really like this line cause many people addited probably feel like this.

well...at first, it was like...i have to write! i have to write!! it's like i'm obsessed with writing every day, but sometimes you just don't feel like, but i really wanted to. so david is absolutely right, it was forced.

sometimes i think david just freaks me out, 'cause the dude knows exactly when i write from my heart and when i write from my mind...

    *hides*
and i thought i was a freak out...
