I don't think it's so bad unless you're drinking a six-pack to yourself every night. Last night I had myself a couple shots of whiskey before I went to bed. And I know one of my friends to have two or three beers before he goes to bed because it relaxes him since he works full-time and goes to school full-time. So I suppose it depends on how much you're drinking when you're by yourself.
If you have like one beer I don't think it's that much of a deal, but if you get completely hammered until the point you don't even understand the concept of tomorrow, then it's sad. Pathetic maybe.
Generally I don't drink by myself however if I get last minute plans to go out somewhere and I'm low on funds then I'll have a few beers before heading out.
I think it's okay as long as you don't get drunk by yourself. I sometimes just nip to the shop and get a few beers to myself. I'd rather be out drinking with friends though. Good alcohol abusing times.
After work when i get home at like 2am, I usually have a beer or two while watching TV maybe then go to bed, so no, not really sad, just depends really. The first sip of an ice cold frosty beer after a long night at work is as good as sex.
What happened to my "gash" poll options. Sad doesn't rhyme with flash, hence the effect is lost. Anyway. I stand by my original comments and agree with Dedicated. I'm too cheap at the moment so getting tipsy before I go out seems a flash option.
I don't know what flash or gash or anything like that means. I like drinking alone, personally. I'm not one for the party scene anymore after getting arrested. it's too risky when you're underage and live in my town.
