Dreamers Dream, Liars Lie, So What Do Fires Do?

Okay. This is another song for my band which my guitarist wrote the guitar parts and I wrote the lyrics to tonight (using some lyrics that I've been working on since the start of summer). Hope you enjoy it

"Dreamers Dream, Liars Lie, So What Do Fires Do?"

I'm staring at people wandering streets,
All underneath me up on this balcony,
No one would believe the sights that I see,
I just hope that someday you'll watch with me,
Otherwise I'm just wasting my time,
What's the point of the best things in life,
If no one's there to share it with you?
I'd rather die than waste a chance like this to kiss you.

Picture the most beautiful place in your mind,
And I will paint it for you,
I will bring it all to life,
Using the colours of your baby blues.

Are we through? 'Cause I'm not finished yet,
I've got chapters to write, edit and then perfect,
Only the best will do, for me and you,
And things are never perfect but I'm not giving up on you.

Can't you see I'm busy? I've got hearts to break,
Lives to take, love's so much easier to fake,
I watch you next to me, damn you wake up late,
You roll over "I'm sorry, I thought you were awake,"
Even at night the sun still burns my face,
It rebounds off the moon to recite it's case,
It never gives up arguments it thinks it's won,
And with good reason 'cause it's never wrong.

Picture the most beautiful place in your mind,
With that faux-moon slowly burning bright,
I will bring it all to life,
Using matches to recreate the light.
