The progressive metal band DREAM THEATER has been confirmed to play in the Sweden Rock Festival on June 10th, the main headliners along with the Motley Crue and other bands such as Kansas, Styx, Yngwie Malmsteen, Motorhead, and Nazareth among many others. They will also play at the Arrow Rock Festival in Holland on June 11th along with Kansas, Styx, and Meat Loaf confirmed at this time. They will also play at the Grasspop Festival in Belgium on June 26th. More details will be known about this one soon! These dates will kick off their 2005 world tour, starting obviously in Europe, with the North American leg probably starting in the early fall. Their new studio album will be released in April or May, and is reportedly much less heavy and more progressive rock than the metalfest "Train of Thought". One can only think good things of the upcoming album after their last output B)
