For those who have heard the new extended live version of Dont Stay, do you know if the intro is the band or just Joe Hahn on turntables because I dont see Brad Delson playing that part on stage on the video Ive seen of them playing it.
At the Rock Am Ring concert, Brad played the intro backstage and ran out with his guitar nce the song started. It was Brad, he just wasn't visible. It was meant to be a suspenseful type of thing.
Cool I hope they use that riff on their next album [/b][/quote] It was only a stop and start Don't Stay intro.
It's actually Rob who's playing that. He has drums that's connected to Joe's sampler. You can see it on the Rock am Ring video for Don't stay.
Because even though he's playing Guitar with the drums, he's still also playing drums... the drums just trigger the samples. *Steals everyone's beer and chugs*
I know what he's talking about. Rob has his digi-drums set up to do the *boomboomboom* thing. He's just mistaking it with the guitar sounds.
The Rock am Ring video has Rob up on the drums, Joe scratching, and Brad playing backstage. They all play three different things simultaneously.
I told you all *takes beer back*. But personaly, I preffer the old Don't Stay intro from Summer Sanataruim.
I'm in the mood for using smileys so let me explain this (w/pictures) for the person who said that Rob played the guitar parts: Does the scratching, plays the Joan Biaz poem and the string section on his turntable. Does the riffs Does the drums beats during Brad's riffs I've never seen the RAR 2004 video but it's so obvious who plays each part
My post was actually sarcastic to paranoidangel, and that beer was him/her I all confused you with the beer. Muwhahahaa! :chemist:
