Tell about your experiences and struggles whether it be meditation yoga or physical.

Well, after injuring my leg by trying to reach it to my back I fell- kinda triped backwards and upon a coffee table which had a plate of mashed potatoes on it, as well as a bottle of cola. The cola didn't get me that much but when I was trying to get up my hair was full of the potatoes. I kind of really hurt for few weeks but I manned it out.

Meditation. Trying to clear your mind is hard, VERY VERY hard. I think I may have archived this before but I'm not sure because I remember thinking "I did it!" and that thought led me to believe that i did not in fact do it..

    EDIT:(stupid spelling mistakes)
I don't really do the flexing stuff anymore lol

I only do the physical yoga. It helps me relax, plus I'm more flexy. In the beginning my muscles were really sore, especially those in the back of my knees. But I'm used to it now. I love the sort of yoga you do before you go to bed, it makes your legs really tired so you fall to sleep really easily.

I'm sorry, that seriously made me laugh.

Anyway, I tried yoga once, it hurt, so I stopped. I figure in another 6 months, I'll wanna try again.

Because I'm like that. I'll stop doing something, and then wonder whether I was really trying or not, and then go back to doing it. I'm also kinda hard on myself. If I can't get something right, I either push myself to do the damn thing right, or I just give up, because I see it as a futile effort. Like origami. I was making an origami rose for someone, and I couldn't do it. I gave up, and then I started trying again the next morning, and I kept at it till I finished it. It was crappy, but I was satisfied that I finished it. I'm weird like that.

Actually, I asked why you laughed at me for being more flexy, but yeah, you're not weird. I'm somewhat the same as you.

The more flexy thing... well, I just found it amusing. It reminded me of something I heard about how yoga helps you with... things.

I try to do Yoga and Pilates once a week along with my other gym classes and swimming. I find it really relaxing especially if you have just done a big workout before it. Apart from the obvious benefits, its a great cool down session.
Like any physical excercise your body is not used to, it will hurt after the first time. But the key is to keep doing it. And not a month later, the next week! Your body needs to get used to those muscles being used regularly. If you leave it for a few months before trying again, you will be back in the same position as you were in the first place. Sore and not wanting to do it again :)

Anyway, thats just my PT rant...
