I'm not talking about Internet radio, but regular radio like in the car and stuff. Speaking of in the car, that's when I usually listen to the radio.
I wouldn't, but they put it on in the office. I like a good amount of what gets played, so I don't mind.
I wish I could but I don’t. It seems pointless now since everyone can choose at any point in time what to listen to. Like literally you can go on Spotify or whatever and pick and choose.
Same here! Radio in Germany is mostly quite repetetive. It's always the same shit. Not interesting at all. I usually play my own music while driving. Sometimes I put on FM4 though. It's an Austrian alternative radio station. They play all sorts of genres, ranging from Rock/Punk to Indie, Hip-Hop and Electronica/Drum&Bass.
Nope. Seems pointless to listen to radio when I have my vast collection of music to listen to. Even radio stations that play decent stuff play the same damn 20 songs.
Nope. Haven't done so for many years, with the exception of a rock station called Party at Dan's on occasion.
I remember tuning into the stations like Hot 97 and Breakfast club when I stayed at hotels in NYC. Also there is a great hip hop station in Chicago that had Kanye on the day I was there. Crazy to think we were in the same city. I was staying for his concert.
If we actually had a rock station here that wasn't either alternative (which I feel like that label doesn't mean anything anymore) or classic rock I would listen more often. Nowadays its just an occasional check to see what sort of music people are listening to on a mass scale. Not usually impressed but there have been some gems here and there.
I actually got into LP because of the radio play they were getting, at a time when radio was basically the only way I could discover new music. Things are obviously very different now.
Don't you just love it when you get to the place you were going to. Only to sit in your car cause a song you have't heard in a long time come on.
The only song I hear right now is "Havana" by Camila. It's getting annoying already even though I like the song..
I do if I'm in the car, but unfortunately my parents like to control it. But eh, I cannot complain though, they usually keep it on a rock radio station. Sometimes LP comes on, but it's pretty rare.
I do if I want some randomness of music and I don't want to listen to anything in particular. If I wanted to listen to something specific, I'll put on my Ipod.
I have a guilty pleasure. I put it on the AC (adult contemporary) station when they go all Christmas music.
