OH MY GOD. I'M GOING TO FLIP OUT.

For whatever reason, the makers of my laptop keyboard decided to put a $ sign and a euro dollar sign on either side of my up arrow key and above my left and right arrow keys.

What's really pissing me off is the fact that sometimes when I'm typing a post, I might hit either of those superfluous keys on the borders of my arrow keys and I'll get taken to another page. Whenever I hit one of the keys, it default clicks the first URL on the webpage. It's especially annoying when I'M TYPING A LONG POST IN THE QUICK REPLY BOX AND IT GETS ERASED. GAH.

Does anyone know how I can disable these keys? I'd prefer it not involve me ripping the keys out of my keyboard, but I'm seriously contemplating it out of anger.

ripping the keys out sounds good. you could try getting some keyboard drivers like iType (by MS), or getting a USB keyboard.

Spill milk on them, you'll never have to worry about them again. Make sure you don't get any on the rest of the keys, though. Seriously, it works.

And don't spill coke on your keyboard or laptop full stop. One way road to meltdown >.<

    I know, personal experience
