Who will be playing on launch? What class will you be starting with? Discuss here.

 

The best I can do is to watch a Let's Play.

 

I'm actually considering doing an LP of my first playthrough of D3.

 

I'll try to watch it if you do.

 

I'd watch too, and I'll be playing as well if I can scrounge the extra cash together for it.

 

Less than 24 hours until my 6-day weekend and Diablo III. Hyped.

If I don't do a Let's Play, I'll probably livestream.

Diablo III comes out tomorrow. GW2 has no release date.

I'll be getting it, never played the first two but my friends are encouraging me to try it out.

 

I'll be playing tomorrow after work pending if my collector's edition arrives. I'm probably going to play barbarian. I'll post my ID and all that when it's all set up so we can play sometime.

 

I'm going to be rolling a Witch Doctor first. Had the most fun playing WD during beta so yeah. I'll be grinding that right at launch.

 

Not really a factor for me - I can only get one though.

 

Why not both? They're both spaced out in such a way that the purchase of one will not affect the purchase of the other. On top of that, they're both of the free-to-play online variety, so it's not like you have to commit to just one. Hell, I'll be getting GW2 when that comes out anyways.

Hmmm should I go for Monk or Barbarian in my first playthrough?

 

The "new game zomfg" in me would say go for the Monk. The Barb was in D2 so take that as you will.

 

As I've never played a Diablo game before, I'm pretty sure every class is "zomfg new" to me lol

I'm the kind of player who enjoys sitting in the middle of hordes like a badass, tanking like a hero and rending the earth with every blow of my weapon. That's what led me to think Barb first. But I do also like being able to walk up to a group of enemies, go "Hi, you're dead now" and walk out three seconds later laughing and splashing in a pool of blood.

 

Honestly, all the classes are fun as shit. But based on what you want, I'd say Barb to start.
