I just went out and bought Devil May Cry 3 for Playstation 2 today. Ive only gotten through the first level and already I'm blown away! Its a prequel to the original DMC game, showcasing Dante's transformation into the demon hunter like his father was before him. He starts off in a crummy, run-down building, but when his long lost brother summons him, Dante is forced to awaken his powers and find him. You can select between different styles of fighting for Dante, which is a new feature in DMC3. Trickster: Dodge attacks and toy with the enemy, using an array of crazy acrobatic moves. Swordmaster: Excel in using a variety of melee weapons to their fullest potential for intense close-range combat. Gunslinger: Excel in handling a variety of firearms with superb markmanship. Royal Guard: Block enemy attacks with hand-to-hand combat moves and turn their attacks to your advantage. I definintely suggest this game to anyone who likes constant action and killer moves.
I went off the DMC series after playing the second one. I'll probably play this one sometime in the future when i can get it for a lower price. There are other games i'd rather spend my money on at the moment & i'm not a very big an of prequels.
DMC3 is fucking amazing. It is extremely difficult but worth it. By far better than any game that came out in 2004. Nate - Change your sig now. DMC2 sucked donkey nuts.
I love the DMC series. I'll have to get ahold of DMC3 at some point but other games come first. Although i am completely rubbish at all DMC games and have never completed any (besides Lucia's, or whatever the hell her name is, disc) i still love them.
Trying to beat Vergil 3 on "Dante Must Die" mode is by far the hardest thing I have ever faced in a videogame. Any tips?
