The song structure of each linkin park song is almost the same I don't think it's a bad structure. If the new album songs will be with that structure , It really pissis me off then , I think lp is quit scared if they use another structure they wil not be that succesfull , so they start stuck on the old one. So desing your own structure B) here's mine 1 beat (drums) starts with guitar both slowly 2 chester sings (couplet)on beat(drums) en guitars(slowly) 3 chorus no singing joe scratching and drums 4 second couplet : bass starts , beats faster , guitar faster mike start rapping 5 chorus no singing joe scratching and drums 6 Guitar solo 7 scratching outro I don't really know about music writing :wth: not quit that musical but it's just an idea
i always wondered what it'd be like if chester sung a verse, and then in the next verse mike rapped, instead of alternating.
Starting out with complex drum line followed by guitar sample line, they alternate every measure. Chester screams with no music and then fades away as the same guitar sample starts Verse 1 alternates between Mike rapping and Chester singing every measure. Not having Chester hold his note while Mike rap, but one measure Chester sings, the next measure Mike raps, etc. Pre-Chorus has mike rapping and chester screaming Chorus has Mike and Chester singing in harmony Verse 2 is like Verse 1 except different lyrics pre-Chorus and Chorus the same Bridge features Joe scratching and Mike doing an awesome rhyme Chorus with different lyrics Edit: whoops I forgot...guitar solo Chorus Fade out/interlude with piano and turntable solos and Chester screams with no music at the end and his voice gets effected with the BTH style effect if you know what I mean.
I think it'd be even cooler if they had a song where it was like a dialogue. They switch vocals every line. And just a guitar/drum solo for the bridge instead of screaming.
yeah, like a battle.. that would be cool.. and also use different song structures.. like: intro, verse, verse, chorus, verse, chorus, chorus. not chorus, verse, chorus, verse, chorus, bridge, chorus (like always).
same here... and, I still want to hear Mike sing something. We know he can sing, so why won't he? Just see what happens...
